The Lonesome Stars, Chris Allen, Austin "Walkin' Cane" Charanghat & Tom Prebish, met in the first grade playgrounds of St. Christopher's Parish in Cleveland, Ohio. After almost 25 years of friendship, they decided to form The Lonesome Stars as a side project from their primary bands of Chris Allen, Walkin' Cane & Bolo Deluxe.

The Lonesome Stars will be releasing their new album, Motorbikes, Radios & Dancehalls, on Saturday, August 12th, 2006 at the Harp w/ special guest Joe Rohan opening at 9:00p.m.

The Lonesome Stars w/ Joe Rohan just returned from a two week tour of southeast Alaska from June 30th - July 11th. The band played to huge crowds in Juneau, Douglas Island, Haines & Skagway and have already confirmed tour plans for next year.

Helicopter rides, dogsleding on Mendanhall glacier, black bears, humpback whales, dolphins, seals, sea lions, snow capped mountains & 22 hours of daylight are just a few of the band experiences in Alaska. Please call or e-mail if interested in promoting the cd release & tour.
